Tel Aviv has one of the most beautiful beach lines in the world, actually it has ranked 9 among the TOP 10 according to National Geographic. 13 official beaches on 14 km of promenade that’s amazing, but usually pretty packed and extremely loud.
I have my Saturday’s BBB rule – beer and book on the beach. When I want to relax on a less crowded beach, I come to the beach with no name. It’s located where Tel Aviv promenade ends and Jaffa’s one begins. Since it’s not official, there’s no facilities, vendors and lifeguard service – just a beach!
I love spotting stunning views from this specific beach – Tel Aviv promenade on the right and St. Peters Church in Old Jaffa on the left. And of course sunsets here are absolutely spectacular, it’s one of my favorite Instagram spots where no filter is needed.
Please remember glass bottles are not allowed on the beach, make sure to buy beer cans or any other beverage. And don’t forget to bring sun protection and apply it every 2 hours, the Mediterranean sun can be very harmful.
P.S Even if you are visiting Tel Aviv in winter, you may find local weather good enough for some beach time.
