Mullixhiu is my new favorite restaurant in the city. The reason why I like it so much and why I think that everyone will love it, is because Mullixhiu is the new Albanian cuisine that we have been waiting for.

Dishes from the past that have kept their essence are prepared with a new perspective. Local ingredients which we didn’t know how to use once, are now served altogether with classics to create new dishes and new experiences.

I do believe that our food (also due to the geographical position) is very good but for so long we’ve been obsessed with Italian food that we’ve forgotten how to appreciate our own flavors. Now it’s time to revive them and create new dishes with them. So, kudos to the chef Bledar Kola for the effort and I really do believe that having dinner at Mullixhiu is an experience that everyone should have when visiting Tirana.
