Aroma Espresso Bar does not have a flashy logo or a bright display window. It has a simple neon sign that glows in the dark: small letters on a black background. Aroma’s modest appearance had deceived me for a couple of years. I was walking right past it on my way to classes and rehearsals and never even noticed it.
Then one day a friend of mine who spent some time in Israel mentioned that she knows a coffee shop where the bread is just as tasty as the one she tried in Israel. I got interested immediately, and she brought me to the Aroma Espresso Bar!
I was so surprised to see how modern, fancy and friendly this space was inside! The menu options are equally impressive. They range from simple smoothies to full-size sandwiches to soups and salads. The selection of desserts is amazing as well. They have fruit smoothies, cakes and cookies, croissants, and anything in between.
The most amazing part about visiting Aroma is that whenever you order a hot beverage, you get a small piece of chocolate on the side. What an unexpected and thoughtful touch! The espresso that they serve has a distinct taste that I haven’t noticed in other coffee shops. And the bread they use for the sandwiches has the lightest and fluffiest texture I’ve seen so far.
