There are many locations of David’s Tea around Toronto, but the one at Bathurst and Bloor is one of my favorite places to go to when I crave the atmosphere of a coffee shop but don’t feel like being surrounded by a crowd. It has only a couple of tables by a large window, but the selection of loose leaf teas is so large that I can hardly make a choice every time I go there.
David’s tea is a loose leaf tea shop for tea lovers with all kinds of preferences. You can find the timeless high-quality classics such as straight black, and green teas or you can go for something fancy such as fruit and floral blends, or even border-line-weird such as teas mixed with coffee beans (it’s actually pretty good!).
If you are not into caffeinated beverages you can find a wide variety of caffeine-free teas at David’s Tea. It is always hard to make a choice at David’s tea, but the friendly staff is always ready to offer their recommendations or even customize your drink so it meets all your health needs, taste preferences and even matches your current mood!
Some of my favorite teas from David’s tea are Lapsang Souchong (a black tea with a smoky aroma), Dragon pearls (rolled green tea leaves with a hint of jasmine scent), and Coconut Macaroon (black tea blend with sweet notes of coconut).
