Ocho – Artsy lounge where you can stay overnight

Ocho first caught my eye because ‘ocho’ is a name of a move in Argentinian tango which I love. But this Ocho is a really quirky and urbanistic place that is a restaurant, an art lounge and a hotel all in one.

Ocho not only features tasty food and beverages but also a well-curated selection of art and creative interior design. Ocho features works by local artists, so the art gets changed up often. I am always curious what kind of paintings I will see there every time I drop in.

Ocho combines the luxury of an urbanistic loft and moderate prices that compete with standard restaurants and eateries. This makes Ocho my first choice when I need to pick a spot for a fancier date or even a special-occasion brunch with friends.

Whenever I am in the area I drop in for a quick cup of coffee just to look for an excuse to look at the new art Ocho is featuring. The contact information of the artists is usually available, so I often take down the artists’ websites to flip through their online portfolios for inspiration.
