Pho Ai My is one of my recent discoveries. I dropped in with a friend of mine just to wait for a rainstorm to quiet down. We were on our way to another restaurant and only wanted to have a cup of tea to warm up until the weather improved a bit. But once we glanced at the menu we immediately decided to stay for dinner instead of going to the place we originally had in mind.
Pho Ai My has a rare combo of amazing hi-end interior design and very fair prices. When we walked in we were almost intimidated by all the fancy decor. We thought that a cup of tea is all we could afford in such a classy place, but it turned out that there were a lot of affordable options of snacks and full scale meals.
My favorite dishes at Pho Ai My are spring rolls, shrimp wrapped in rice paper and vermicelli. Also, the tea they serve deserves a special mention. I am a bit picky when it comes to teas, but they satisfied my taste completely. It is light enough not to interfere with the meal but hints of jasmine and rice make it memorable enough.
