About me
I’m a Swiss expat in Turin, studying dinosaurs for work and exploring the city for fun. I’m being helped by my girlfriend Enrica, who is a real local here. We like touring our town (and not only) on bicycle, take pics of whatever nice detail we find, and discover new places near and far.

We live in the lovely neighborhood Vanchiglia, which has some kind of village feel, where people know each other, and where you find everything for your daily life!

Why Turin?
Turin is not the industrial town you might think! It’s the hidden jewel of Italian cities. That’s probably one of the reasons why it’s also still relatively untouched by tourist masses, and therefore perfect to live in.

There are two universities, so it’s very lively, with many bars and venues for concerts or other events. It’s a big city, but it doesn’t really feel like one. The center is easily walkable, and many of the smaller neighborhoods around have everything you need.
