Convitto Cafè – My favourite cakes shop

When there’s a fog (and Turin is a really foggy city believe me!), it is about to rain and you feel melancholy, what is better than a cake to drive this all away?!

Convitto is the best café to go to have a slice of cake or better yet a great mix of cakes accompanied by a hot chocolate. I know it’s tough but after that you can die happy. Seriously, in this spot you can have another birthday everyday. You can decide between a mountain of different flavours: pear and chocolate cake, peach and amaretti tart, apple pie, strudel, sacker torte, muffin with lemon curd, cheesecake and so on and so forth.

And it is not over: if it’s lunchtime you can also have meatballs in tomato sauce with vegetables with a good glass of wine and at the end a slice of cake of the day.

To make sure you have the best afternoon in the world you can finish with a movie at Cinema Massimo, really close to the café (check the Cinema Massimo article).

Happy birthday!
