Imagine going to Murano, seeing a lot of beautiful glass creations, having the urge to buy them all, but only having one suitcase and no room for that beautiful bright colored prop you like. And you have also a flight to take, and the fear of finding a shattered souvenir is real.
So I suggest having a longer trip in Northern Italy, spending some days exploring Turin… and then after relaxing [check the “Valentino – Turin’s central park” article], just have a stroll in San Salvario, for a drink or coffee. Then, you can stumble upon a cute doorbell with a little tile, shaped like a house. Then you can just ring it and finally find your glass souvenir in an unusual place.
Stefania and Michele will welcome you to their shiny glass realm. She creates every kind of artisanal piece of glass jewelry of this type. She sits at her table, ignites the fire lamp, grabs some glass sticks and pours molten incandescent drops of glass on a stick. Then she can add some other drops, or maybe she can press the glass ball to create a tablet, or she can mouth blow it to create a bubble.
In their selection you can find studs and drop earrings (I’m in love with them), statement necklaces, rings and also men’s jewelry. Every piece is elegant while being modern and bright.
They have a new line for 2018: It’s called “Unica” (Unique). Check their facebook and rejoyce with me.
