It’s spring time so it’s also ice cream time! My favorite spot to get an ice cream in town is absolutely Mara dei Boschi, a small and cosy shop where everything happens and the flavors explode.

The owner of Mara dei boschi, covers all stages of production of the ice cream: Find the materia prima. Invent the new flavors. Mix the ingredients. Taste the final product!

For his ice cream he mixed traditional knowledge with new and “curious” variations, for example in his shop you can find classic flavors like chocolate and cream but also peach, chocolate & amaretto or ginger & lemon.

Another deliciousness is the Marotto, it is an frozen-Gianduiotto made with nuts and chocolate without milk, this is an original creation of the shop, still going proud.

The shop is also open in winter, which is when you have to taste hot chocolate with cream.
