There aren’t words to describe how much I love this ice cream. And judging by the lineups, rave reviews, and the opening of its second store after only a few years in business, lots of people agree with me.
The idea is small-batch artisanal ice creams, with interesting flavours and local, high quality ingredients. There are classics like milk chocolate, cookies and cream and Tahitian vanilla, and then there are unique combinations like strawberry basil, oatmeal brown sugar or even whiskey hazelnut.
The shop on Fraser is clean and bright, and beautifully designed. They sell scoops in cones or cups, sundaes, and really great espresso. I definitely recommend the affogato – a scoop of ice cream with warm coffee poured over it. They also sell pints that come in cute glass jars that you can return for a deposit.
