This is great coffee.
Moja coffee is a local coffee shop that has built their reputation through delicious coffee. I first discovered Moja coffee when a colleague told me their story of discovery. He was up in North Vancouver and suddenly consumed with the overwhelmingly enticing smell of fresh roasting coffee beans. Immediately he made a decision, he was going to follow his nose until he discovered where that incredible smell was coming from – he found himself at Moja Coffee.
Moja coffee is a local coffee roaster tucked away in an industrial area of North Vancouver. It is not on a main street, they only have a little sign out front and if you didn’t know it was there you would drive right past. When I finally did find Moja I was absolutely blown away. Their seating area is modest but their coffee is magnificent. What makes Moja even better is that they have paired up with Thomas Haas (check the Thomas Haas article), local confectioners, to provide a delightfully delicious selection of pastries.
Moja coffee is a secret known only by locals; it’s Sean approved and shared with you.
Local tip: if you buy a bag of coffee your drink is free. Also Moja has now opened a second location on commercial drive!
