Fujiyama – Tea Room Beatrice – But first, tea!

I’m a coffee lover but when I’ve had my daily dose it’s always a pleasure to have a cup of tea. I’m going to share my favorite place in Venice to have a good tea without spending so much.

Fujiyama is actually not only a lovely tea house but also a nice bed and breakfast close to campo San Barnaba and not very far from Campo Santa Margherita. The place where I usually take a break and find relaxation away from the city’s noises and crowds of tourists. Two small rooms and a few tables to have tea, featuring a good Oolong selection from China and Japan or English classic flavours. The beauty of this place is the Oriental garden adorned with wisteria and jasmine, so it’s easy to imagine why I call it magic.

I usually order the Matcha Tea, but Fume Lapsang Souchong Black Tea is a good alternative on foggy days. When I need to lift my spirit and fulfill my sweet needs I order a slice of apple pie with cinnamon or nut brownies and everything becomes alright.
