About me
Moving to Wien in 1997 was also the start into adult life, into my life. Born and raised in a small village on the countryside only 45 min. away from the Austrian capital, I always knew, I am a city-girl. My aunt lived in Wien and whenever I visited her it seemed like paradise to me.
And after some years of struggling, finding “my“ places, “my“ people I consider it home now. I am pretty stable because I´ve been living in the same flat, same surrounding for 11 years now, have been working in the same field (communications) for 9 years now – but I love to move, discover new things, new places, new groups of people.
I am happy to show you some of these discoveries of beautiful Wien to you. But I am sure you´re going to discover a lot on your own too, just start to explore!
Why Wien?
- It incorporates old history but is modern at the same time.
- It´s big but small in one.
- It´s wellknown, comfortable but you can discover hidden spots, precious sites and new scenery all the time.
- It´s crowded but also quiet when you need the silence.
- It´s sooo green but also full of beautiful architecture.
- And it shows you a lot… you just have to wander around with open eyes.
- It feels like home for me.
