As fall comes to town and the weather cools down and the winds start to play around, everybody pulls on warm sweaters and wraps up in cozy scarves. Some thoughtful people made sure that the trees would not be cold either. They dressed the trees with colorful sweaters; and a nearby standing street lamp got a stylish scarf. The trees with sweaters will meet you at the corner of Vincas Kudirka square.
In particular, this square is special for a number of things. Firstly, it is named after Vincas Kudirka, who was the author of Lithuanian national anthem, as well as a prominent cultural, political and social figure in the life of Lithuania. Secondly, at the end of the square is the House of the Lithuanian Government, where the Prime Minister sits. Moreover, the square is very famous amongst young skateboarders in Vilnius.
Yet today I invite everyone to meet those stylishly dressed trees.
