‘Marga krautuvėlė’ is about three things: music (audio equipment, records and music instruments), clothes (new and worn) and various antiques – from books to suitcases. What they do here is accept things someone wants to have sold and keep them in the shop for a limited period of time – either until they’re sold with most of the profits going to their original owners or have just been around for too long and gathered dust, in which case they are returned back home.
What I like most about this place is their stash of vinyl records – definitely the biggest one I have seen in any shop in this town. They also clean them to remove dust and dirt and get that good sound back. And you can’t miss the corner with the audio equipment, mostly record players and speakers made in USSR. The good news is that everything they sell here is in working condition.
Drop by if you want to have a look at what the folk of this town have for sale. Bargains are to be found, because if the shop has a hard time selling something its price will be reduced. Need that fancy hat for something, but don’t want to buy it? You can rent it in a snap.
