Before they settled in this spot, Spice was an Asian street food stall on Pilies Street in central town. But Lithuanian winters are long and cold, so they found a place under Turgus’ (check the Turgus article) roof.
The two spots share the same entrance: to find Spice, just take the first corridor on the left after you enter. The menu is a mix of Asian staples: bulgogi, khao soy, Vietnamese coffee. The selection may not be big, but anything you order will be prepared to be a good fit for any Asian street food market, hence the rave reviews this place is getting.
Spice also serves weekly and lunch specials — you’ll find more info on that on their Facebook page. Plus, they’re also an excellent place to order takeaway.
What I like about Spice is that, if it’s not too busy, the staff always take a minute to talk to you — about the food you just had, the weather, or something completely random. Drop by if you’re in the area.
