Ciszyca is a small village located around 25 km from Warsaw’s city centre. You might want to stop in a local shop in Habdzin to buy some fresh goods: cheese, eggs, ham, ice cream and more.
Compared to other beaches around, like for example Zawady or the area at the other side of the Vistula, Ciszyca is very quiet even in high season. Here you will find families with kids, people with dogs, the old and the young.
Also, compared to other beaches on the Vistula, Ciszyca is a very quiet corner where the water flows slowly. That is crucial for kids and dogs that stroll around. For example, this season the water level in the small bays of the river is about 20 to 50 cm high. But be aware that the river is very lively and some time you might arrive here to find that there’s no beach at all!
Ciszyca is also located near one of the most popular bike routes in this area, so if you are a cycling freak, you might want to check it out.
