Flambee tarte is something between a pancake + pizza – a crusty underneath with many toppings, creamy sauce, possibly some cheese, all baked lightly to suit your choice. I would describe the cuisine as French although their FB page indicates it’s French and German. Flambeeria serves them for example with chanterelles, bacon, gorgonzola, pear and much more.
The interior of Flambeeria is modern, furnished according to great minimalistic taste, clean and inviting. In the summer time you can sit outside in the quiet Emilii Plater street and enjoy the view over the low surrounding buildings. The place is located in the direct city centre and will be a good starting point to further discover Warsaw.
You MUST try the pear and lavender flambee, it won our hearts. Their wine also needs to be mentioned – they have some nice French wines, not as well-priced as the flambees though.
