Kwadratowa – literally translated as “Square” is a brand new café in the lovely Ochota district. And even though Ochota is such a nice part of Warsaw, it is still lacking in nice places to get a coffee or hang out with friends.
Connected to the newly renovated Ochota Theater (Teatr Ochoty), Kwadratowa is in a beautiful checkered, see-through pavilion, in the middle of a leafy square (!), close to the “main drag” with cars zooming by, yet inside it’s a quiet oasis in the midst of an urban sea.
Drop by before a play at Teatr Ochoty or come to listen to a concert, watch a documentary, see an exhibition, have a nice brunch, an espresso in the morning or a glass of wine or a beer after a long day. The great thing about Kwadratowa is that it’s very family-oriented: there is a special kid’s corner and a variety of workshops for kids on the weekends.
It is most definitely the perfect place to stop by for tea and cake on a crisp autumn Sunday walk with your friends, kids and beloved pets.
Be there AND be square!
