Definitely my favorite spot. I do not remember how many afternoons I’ve spent here with my fiends drinking coffee, then drinking wine, then drinking gin and tonics.
The place was closed some time ago because of some issues with the building, but now, a year or so later, the place is back, right where it used to be!
The friendly staff and nice people from Warsaw hanging out make this small place a mandatory visit for everyone that wants to enjoy Warsaw. The location also offers a lot of choices, since the district is getting very fancy and more bars and restaurants are opening in the area all the time.
This spot has a very special character. The name reminds me of communist times – Polonez was the name of the typical Polish car of the average Pole during that period.
The bar offers a wide selection of drinks, from traditional cocktails to more original combinations, but of course the staff can give you advice in case you need it. The beers on offer are from all around Poland, so you can be sure that you will have the chance to get a real taste of the country there.
Their dood is also affordable and recommendable, but Polonez is mostly vegetarian-oriented, so make sure your concept of lunch or dinner include dishes without meat.
