You must admit, there is something special about sharing your food with friends or family. You get separate plates but the exchange of “ooh, that’s good” and “I’m not really into chorizo” gives you the feeling of belonging to a much greater extent than if you had two separate dishes (also in case you don’t like any of the tapas, your friend(s) will most probably like it).
At Sueño try their tapas board: manchego cheese, chorizo, bulgur, nuts, bread, hummus, aioli and olives and you will not be disappointed. Also the atmosphere of a Spanish beach hut with pale colours and hammocks adds to your pleasant stay here. The bar staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful, and you would probably not be laughed at if you did not know what chorizo was :).
For dessert they have many interesting cakes and snacks (some time ago a cheesecake made from goat cheese), so ask for the waiter’s recommendation.
Sueño has received very good press reviews and was mentioned by culinary gurus as an excellent restaurant. Extremely good value for money!
From October 2017 there are Spanish lessons every Saturday – check their FB profile for details.
