Funnily enough I was stranded in Strefa Kultury (culture zone) when my play took place two hours before I came to the theatre. Don’t ask me how this happened, the time on my ticket was definitely right and I was on time, as always. Not to worry though as Strefa Kultury has a very nice place to sit down a bit, with sweet furniture, lovely music and even better cakes.
Take notice of their white and glass furniture, cushioned chairs, armchairs and grandmother-like cupboards – you will love it. Also, it’s especially nice to enjoy their winter tea (orange and raspberry) and think, at least for a while, you don’t have to rush anywhere, you can just relax listening to Ella singing…
The place is just near the entrance to the Teatr Powszechny (yes, this metal box) on the right hand side and it’s probably the best option to chat or have a tea with your friends from Praga district if you don’t want to visit the bars and cafes in ul. Ząbkowska.
