It’s definitely a perfect place for a morning coffee or an evening drink for those who live in Żoliborz. This cosy cafe has everything that a good neighborhood cafe needs: fresh coffee, tasty snacks and friendly staff.
On a cold winter day I recommend their grzaniec, that in Poland signifies hot beer or wine served with spices and a slice of orange. You can always come here for a breakfast or lunch. You can be sure that your sandwich will be made with organic and hand-made bread and that the tempting meringue cake was freshly baked by the pastry-talented Milenka.
The Secret Life Cafe organizes interesting movie shows and sells various hand-made objects (cups, notebooks, pillows, candles etc.). In the summer you can enjoy your cold drink on their quiet tarrace. If you come here alone (as I do sometimes), you can always have a look at their interesting books about design and Warsaw history.
The Secret Life Cafe is located in increasingly interesting Żoliborz, with its little “Wisła” cinema, recently refurbished Fort Sokolnickiego or already well-established hangouts such as Coco de Oro or Żywiciel.
