One would typically associate synagogues with the Torah, manischewitz, Rabbis, etc. Meet and Greets with Bravo TV stars, Buddhist monks, and best selling authors does not typically come to mind. However, at the synagogue on 6th and I, these are just a few examples on the long list of authors, musicians, and celebrities who come to speak/perform. The best part is, not too many people know about this place where you can rub elbows and chat with some of your favorite people in pop culture.
I am a complete Real Housewives of New York addict…I mean “fan”, so of course I jumped at the opportunity to see Bethenny Frankel speak at 6th and I. Insider tip: when authors speak, the tickets usually include a copy of their latest book. The setting is pretty intimate and the architecture of the building is gorgeous, so if you are “forced” to go see an event there, you have something to keep your interest.
It is so funny because I literally live down the street from this establishment and had no idea how many awesome events they have weekly and for so cheap! Get your tickets to see influential celebrities, authors, and musicians, before this somewhat “secret” venue gets uber popular!
