I was pretty surprised to discover this artistic place, which is a combination of delicate taste and comfort. If you are looking for an alternative places in Yerevan, then this venue is the right one, especially when it’s summer. It has a nice balcony and a cute courtyard where it’s possible to spend Yerevan nights if you already have nice company. If not. then you can enjoy your time counting the stars and waiting for the moon maybe.
Once you enter the place you will be fascinated by the pictures on the walls, authored by one of the founders of this place and a famous Belgian illustrator. The special format of this art café suggests you book dinner or lunch in advance, as this is not a regular café operating within certain hours. You can only dine or have lunch here if you’ve already booked it. I recommend you do it; it’s really worth trying. The food is really delicious here and besides, you may meet very interesting local artists here who teach painting to children and adults in the next room. By the way, you can even take a painting class here.
As Christin, the young and beautiful founder of Come in Home told me, the importance of this place is to bring interesting people together, to help them get rid of their smartphones for a few hours and communicate in the most human, “vintage” way. Well, after checking in, of course.
