Last summer, our family visited Art Park almost on a daily basis. How come, you wonder?
Art Park was our answer to everything. Want a beer? Art Park. Meeting friends? Art Park. Need to tire the kids out? Art Park. Want to listen to some music? Art Park. Movie night, playground, cocktails, randomly bumping into people who seem familiar but you’re not quite sure who they are… Art Park’s good for it all.
It’s hard to find words to best describe the amazingness that is the Art Park. It’s a cultural project, a mix of a creative art gallery and an outdoor bar, situated around a children’s playground in the heart of the town, just three minutes walk from the Main Square.
At the bar, you can find Medvedgrad craft beers as well as other drinks. More importantly, though, there are various cultural events organised there almost every afternoon and evening. Film nights, DJs, art workshops, sports events… there’s something for everyone in the Art Park from May until September.
Spend a day (or the whole summer!) drawing, dancing, drinking and hanging out with your friends, kids and dogs. I definitely will.
