This small passage breathes with diversity. I like to call it a huge mini-market, even though I actually visit only 3 of the stores on my tours here, which I would like to highlight:
1. Kuća zelenog čaja (the house of green tea): store with 100+ types of tea imported from all around the world.
2. Artisan crafted chocolates: hand-crafted chocolates for lovers of sweets.
3. Riprus čarolija hrvatske tradicije (the magic of Croatian tradition): store with traditional Croatian handmade/handcrafted liquors, honey, olive oil etc.
There is also an ornament shop with alternative clothes and figures, a hand-made jewelery store, a sports store, a design concept store, a ech store, a vintage clothes store and a travel agency/tourist info in one.
This place is at the dead center of Zagreb and it’s worth giving it a look – it’s atmospheric and well-maintained. Apart from my three favourite stores, you can take the chance while there to sit down and drink a cup of coffee on the nice terrace in the main hallway, or you can head north upstairs to the terrace below the stairs to the Upper Town and enjoy some silence and a beautiful view.
All in all, it’s caught my eye and I can recommend it to anyone interested in this kind of products.
