When a place is called “Mojo – wine and rakija bar” what other invitation do you need to step in? 🙂
So, here’s the deal. Zagreb has, surprisingly enough, been experiencing a renaissance on the wine/dine scene. Within the past two years, many wine bars and “tapas” style food venues have opened up, turning Zagreb’s going out scene into more and more of a gourmet experience. Something that 5 years ago was unimaginable and left one yearning for a place where you could have a bite to eat and a nice glass of wine. Well, Mojo is one of those places where you can “only” have the alcohol without the food, but oh boy, such alcohol it is! When you look at the wine list your head might spin a little and if it doesn’t, then try looking at the list of rakijas.
In addition to the really great selection of wine and spirits and the cool space it’s in, the Mojo crew really work hard at putting together all the components of a great night out. This includes music as well, so if there’s no live band playing, you’re sure in for a good DJ set.
All of this makes Mojo pretty popular, so if you want to secure a spot for a larger group of people, a good idea would be to call in a day earlier and make a reservation.
