Another place on the ever-busy Tkalčićeva street, this one is more for having a fun time drinking strong alcohol drinks than previously mentioned things like Cookie Factory.
Rakhia Bar is halfway through Tkalčićeva street and it offers something different from other places, and that is a variety of rakija, the notorious, strong Croatian drink!
I counted around 60 different kinds of rakija, each one of them processed differently, so this place is certainly for people looking to smash their throats with firepower like rakija. Some of the popular ones in the selection are Medica, Orahovac, Viljamovka, Šljivovica, Višnjevac, Rogač and some of them rare to find in bars like Jagodička, Smokva, Lavanda, Jaffa, Griotta, Cannabis etc.
Commercial rakija has around 40% of alcohol and home processed rakija has around 50%-60% of alcohol, just so you know what are you getting into with these little devils. Prices vary from 11kn to 20kn with a special offer of rakija mix which is 10 rakijas of your choice in one package.
There is a small terrace provided outside and the interior is big and nicely decorated with always someone to find to get drunk with in the evening, especially on Fridays and Saturdays, as on those days there is some event organised every now and then.
