About me
I was born, raised and educated all within a 20 mile radius of Akron, Ohio, USA. All that familiarity must have driven me to seek something new, because at 16 I spent a year abroad in Germany as an exchange student. After that, my international drive was unstoppable.

Between studying international business at the University of Akron, I spent summers in China, Ghana, and South Korea and on one of those trips I met my long-term penpal, an Aussie, and we got married 2 years later in Perth, Australia. We lived in Perth and Boston until March 2009 when my husband applied for a job in Zurich and what do you know… here we are in Zurich – and we love it!

Why I love Zurich?
Whether I am walking down Bahnhofstrasse, admiring the luxury watches, or strolling along the Zurich See with the Alps in the distance and swans diving just meters away, I am constantly pinching myself.

Zurich is the good life – clean streets, a big city vibe in a small town atmosphere, close to the best nature has to offer, cultural attractions and events galore, and it’s all right in the heart of Europe. Whether you are here for just a day or a week or a year, there is so much on offer in Switzerland’s largest city.
