We know by now that Amsterdam offers plenty of places to sit down and be served, but it’s also nice to get into the kitchen yourself every now and then. That’s where Keizer Culinair (Culinary Emperor) comes into the picture! This cooking school can be found at two locations in the centre of Amsterdam, as well as a few other places in Holland (Haarlem, The Hague, Breukelen and Rotterdam). It’s a perfect place to organise a group activity with some friends or family and great for company team-building.
Most courses start late afternoon where a 3 or 4-course menu (French, Italian or Dutch) is prepared in small groups. Afterwards you can enjoy the food all together in a cosy atmosphere on long tables. The kitchen has a warm feeling to it and the cook and his assistants are all very nice and skilled.
People more interested in upgrading their cooking techniques alone can also come for individual workshops and courses, which is a great way to learn in a fun way!
