Hidden just outside Westerpark is this really cool spot. If you like fish, this is the place. If you like G&Ts, this is your place -- and if you love to combine both, you definitely are going to have a great time. They are open in winter as well, but I would advise going there on a nice, summer day. Later in the afternoon. Or early.
Look at the long list of different gin and tonic cocktails. Pick one. Try another after that. Then look at the interesting and exciting food menu and indulge in some tasty and surprising dishes. Find another gin and tonic to accompany your dish with and while you're doing that, enjoy the trees that surround this place. It is truly an amazing spot with a big terrace and an always-friendly service.
They do take reservations, but because it can be very busy, they do not always pick up the phone. If you really like mussels, remember to only eat them in season (all months that have an R).
