If you fancy something sweet, I can recommend Patisserie Tout close to the hip neighbourhood De Pijp in Amsterdam.
I discovered it when I used to live and would regularly buy their amazing macarons for my homemade Sunday brunch or a cake for my birthday. The macarons are really delicious and come in many different flavours and colours.
Besides macarons, as the name makes you guess, Patisserie Tout also offers a variety of pastries, cakes and chocolates to go or packed in gift packaging.
It isn’t possible to sit; however, you can take whatever you like away before or after exploring De Pijp and get the chance to see a more residential neighbourhood steps away from the busy De Pijp.
You could further combine it with a coffee to go from the Scandinavian Embassy, which is 13 min walk away or check out my favourite Badeta Koffiebranders.
Finally, if you have extra time, it is also possible to sign up for a workshop and learn how to bake macarons yourself (yummy!)
