Pazzi – Come here for pizza

Amsterdam has some fine pizza bakeries in town. It might take some time to notice between all the flashy € 5 pizza places but there is some Italian blood in the city, hidden in the outskirts of the city centre. One of those places is Pazzi, a small bakery with about 10 pizzas on the menu, 8 tables in the restaurants and some shelves with fine Italian wines and other goods. You might walk past it, if you accidentally walk in the street at all, but once you find it, you won’t forget it.

Their pizzas are on the pricey side but still affordable. Their cheapest option is € 8 (with tomato, garlic, oregano, capers and anchovies) and this is one of those places where the classics (such as a Margherita) taste the best. Of course, you can go for a € 15, luxurious option (which tastes brilliantly as well), but there is no need. Your best bet is to go for the pizzas in the middle, pay around € 10 for a pizza; two Italian beers for € 3 each and you have a really nice dinner.

Pazzi decided to stay away from most of the classics or at least give their own spin at them. It is, therefore, difficult to decide which pizza to choose. Let me calm you, there is no right or wrong in choosing here. Every pizza will taste good and it’s always fun to share your pizza.
