Razmataz – Food, drinks, friends

There’s always a spot in the neighbourhood that seems to appeal to almost everyone living around it. Razmataz is that spot for me. Just 5 minutes from my house, located on a square with some small supermarkets, a bakery, butcher and a greengrocer. With the coming of other cafes I usually go there for a while but Razmataz is the place I always tend to return to.

It’s built up in two places, one is the café/pub part of Razmataz, the other is the restaurant. In spring, summer, September and October, the two are combined with a terrace outside. A perfect place to meet on a summer night with friends, sharing a bottle of wine or drinking a forgotten number of beers. The restaurant is good too, with fresh Italian and French food, the kitchen can warm up your winter with these Mediterranean flavours.

I have wondered why I like Razmataz so much. Is it the lively square? The staff? The drinks or the food? The fact they have something to offer, every moment of the day? The answers to these questions differ with the season, and I think that’s why I always end up returning.
