One evening, a friend and I had a small ‘rendez-vous’ on a casual Thursday evening after work. Little did we know that this was a very bad time to have a bite at the ‘Spaghetteria’ (thus, still to be reviewed), as that place is packed in every corner! In order not to become ‘hangry’ I suggested we try a restaurant I had just walked by on my way there. This turned out to be a good decision!
Traffic Vegetarian & Mediterranean Kitchen feels like a cozy living room where customers are welcomed as if they were long lost friends. Reservations are not necessary (but who knows after writing this review…), while the food is super fresh. On the menu there are multiple vegetarian and vegan dishes to be found, influenced by the Mediterranean kitchen (not a huge surprise, since the restaurant has foreign owners). I enjoyed a Moroccan salad with quite the amount of herbs, garlic, feta and veggies, while my friend feasted on their homemade lentil soup accompanied by pita bread. However, their hummus plates are also known to deserve a try!
I would advise to visit this restaurant whenever you’re in the mood for a casual evening in a comfortable setting and craving something different, healthy and fresh for dinner!
