If you live in Antwerp, you’ve probably seen the owner of Cfou before. He has worked in bars for as long as I can remember. Finally, he has opened a new bar: Cfou – French: it’s crazy – and it doesn’t hurt to be a little crazy. Dolf is a little out there, but in a very good way.

In Cfou everybody is welcome. As there are live concerts of all kinds, all different music genres pass by. There’s a genre and subgenre for everyone.

Bands from all over the world visit the place to play a gig on the little stage at the back of the bar. If you play in a band and a gig has been cancelled, but you still want to play, contact Dolf! He will probably help you out.

Inside there are some paintings on the walls, but probably not the same as the last time you visited. This is in fact an exhibition: local painters are given the chance to show and sell their work here.

It is nice to rest on the custom wooden terrace, because there’s lots of green and mostly interesting nice people around. It’s not a problem to start talking to someone you don’t know. And if they don’t feel like talking, Dolf does!
