This little market takes places once a month on a Sunday, between April and September. There is also one winter edition, somewhere in between December and January. Be sure to check out their website to find out the next dates. It’s in Dutch, but there’s always google translate ;).
New designers get a chance to present their jewelry, interior designs, clothing and graphic items like postcards and notebooks. When it’s colder, they make a big fire to warm yourself at, they bring homemade organic-soup, and sell sandwiches and coffee from their food-caravan. Oh, and there’s a DJ and/or a band playing music.
I have a hole in my pocket when it comes to jewelry and notebooks… Pretty dangerous for me to go there… Good thing they only accept cash 😉 . OK, there’s an ATM around the corner, but I try really hard to ignore the thing!
Most of the things sold on this market are also available on the designer’s webshops but I think it’s always nice to meet them in person and see the stuff they make for real before making a purchase.
