Dickie Dee Athens – Ice cream heaven
It's summer in the city centre of Athens and you feel like you are going to melt down? Go straight to Dickie Dee, the best soft ice cream of the city. With just about 4 options of flavors, it is not going to be difficult to select your order. What I like most about this ice cream is the really soft texture, which is nothing like I’ve ever tasted anywhere else.
My favorite flavors are rosewater and pistachio in a cone. There is also the dark chocolate flavor, suitable for our vegan friends. I did try the cone wrapped in cotton candy once, but mainly to shoot this impressive picture for Spotted by Locals. It is maybe sweeter than what I can handle. The ice cream alone is just enough to make you feel content.
Whether you choose to have it wrapped with cotton candy or covered with toppings or just simply have it in a cone or cup, I can guarantee that you will get pure satisfaction and a breath of coolness during these hot days.
