Vietnam Athens – Asia in Athens
This might be the best Asian restaurant in Athens: sushi, classic Chinese dishes such as Peking duck and sweet sour chicken but also some very special Vietnamese recipes all make for a great menu.
My father first took me there when I was a teenager and it was my introduction to the world of Asian cuisine. Ever since, I’ve tried other Asian restaurants both at home and abroad and I must say that I was pretty lucky as this is the best one I’ve been to in Athens.
I visit it quite often as I love the food - very important!- but also the space is very beautiful with the perfect Asian decor and music. There is a separate smoking area and even though I’m a smoker, I prefer sitting in the non-smoking area and enjoying this food experience to the most.
My favorite dishes are: the paradise shrimps, the cashew nut chicken and the all-time classic Peking duck.
