As much as I love trying new places, many times I cannot seem to leave my “comfort zone” and by that I mean those places you absolutely love and somehow always end up choosing when you want to go out. Alma Libre has been one of those places for me for a while now.
The main thing on their menu is the açaí. If you have tried açai before, you know how good it is and if you haven’t, my explanation would probably not do it justice, so just trust me and give it a try. Actually, I’ve had a few Brazilian friends say that it is the best açaí they have ever had… in Barcelona. It is not only delicious but it is also incredibly cheap compared to other places in the city. The rest of the menu is just as good and it is all vegan. I think I might have tried almost everything and there is not one thing that I did not like. They have daily menus also where you can get an açaí bowl, a burger and a homemade drink for 12€.
Extra tip: If you want to make your experience even more local, follow their Instagram and see when they host events, the main one is usually Yoga and Brunch.
