Just off Carrer Princesa, the main thoroughfare through El Born, and not far from Jaume I, this spot should be easy to find, yet I still occasionally manage to get lost on my way there. Completely tucked away in an obscure corner, this bar is nicely hidden and therefore usually a great spot to escape to with friends.
I first started coming here during a short period when people I knew were playing a few small acoustic concerts. Those concerts eventually stopped, but there’s often some kind of cool little event going on so there might be something else to discover whenever you happen to pop in.
The bar has lots of space to explore and hang out, you can sit upstairs and survey the rest of the bar from on high, or take advantage of either of the two pool tables. With lots of space, generally good music and pool tables which you often don’t have to queue for, it’s a great place to spend time.
There are no bells and whistles here, but during the week it’s a great place to chill if you want the space and the relaxed feel that some other more well-known bars sometimes fail to provide. On certain weekend nights it can double up as a busy boisterous bar too! A great balanced spot with a lot to do behind its walls.
