I feel like pinchos are a great option for when you go out to eat in Barcelona — they are cheap, they are delicious and there are lots of options if you’re feeling indecisive. Apart from the famous Blai Street, another place I like to go for pinchos is Euskal Etxea. It is located in the heart of the Born neighbourhood, in great proximity to many places to explore (if you’re doing a bar/tapas crawl, this should be a stop).

It is a typical basque place, the name means “The basque home”. Depedending on what you’re feeling like, you may opt for the bar with lots of pinchos on the counter to choose from, or you can also have a full meal, as they work as a proper restaurant too. Any time of the day is good to visit — you can get yourself a glass of vermouth or a pint of beer (or three) and go through the whole menu.

If you want the extra local experience, when you exit the place, take the first turn on the right. There is a narrow street and you will find a door there. I know it sounds like something dangerous, but it actually takes you to the other part of the bar, where it´s mostly locals and the prices are slightly cheaper. Depending on the day, you might also find a concert on their small stage. So yeah, I really recommend you take the turn to the right!
