Len’s Comic Café is a fantastic coffee spot next to Plaça Tetuán and a must visit for any comic lover in Barcelona. As they say on their webpage, this place is “For geeks and beyond”.
Located in what is known as the “Friki Triangle of Barcelona”, the entire bar is embellished with comic-themed decoration. They also have board games to play with friends or American and manga comics on the bookshelves, which you can read while having a coffee with a Japanese pastry. There’s also some tables outside.
Len’s Comic also organizes monthly karaoke sessions and various events related with the world of TV shows, movies, videogames and comics, such as conferences, projections, game-testing etc.
I think that the price of their food and drinks is pretty affordable. In my opinion, this is the best bar in Barcelona related to comics culture.
They serve a wide selection of interesting food, such as dorayakis (Japanese traditional pastries), burgers and vegetarian food. Their meal deal – burger, fries & drink — is also a great choice for a cheap lunch.
For drinks, you’ll find almost anything you can imagine: a big variety of milkshakes (Coconut, Vanilla, Oreo, Twix, etc.), slushie drinks, cocktails and imported beers and Japanese refreshments.
Close to the shop you’ll find Norma Comics, the best comic book shop in the world.
