“El Denye Hek”, which means “life is like this”, is a nice, unique Lebanese retro taste concept, with good food in perfect old Lebanese atmosphere, from the music to the decoration.
It has two levels; I love the upper area, around the fountain and the big tree. There ‘s a small grotto on the same side — don’t miss checking it out and taking some photos.
What I admire the most next to the tasty food menu is the ceiling height; it just makes me feel free and at home.
The food is always fresh, and super tasty with the fresh baked bread, cold or hot mezze, the salads and grilled meat.
You shouldn’t miss their special desserts: they’re pure Lebanese but with a twist. An oldies selection of music is always filling the air, and on some occasions they have live old Arabic music or oud nights. And note that they serve shisha and it never bothered me, although I’m not a smoker.
Walk-ins are always welcome, but if you are a big group, it’s preferable to make an early reservation.
