I’ve been an avid visitor of Pool D’etat ever since it opened its doors in Beirut and one of the reasons is the very relaxed atmosphere.

Located on a rooftop in Hamra, Pool D’etat is an affordable pool by day and a very nice place to grab a drink or dinner by the pool at night. From 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the pool is open for anyone who wishes to swim and the bar serves cocktails, breakfast, and lunch items. The music is chill to complement the atmosphere, but you’ll have to get there early to secure a spot by the pool as the space is a bit tight.

After 6:00 PM, the pool is no longer accessible and chairs and tables are added; the space is transformed into a restaurant/bar where you can enjoy an array of drinks or have dinner. Their recently updated menu has options for every taste and their portions are very hearty!
