Indoor or outdoor, French, Italian or simply grill… one can never be disappointed at the Gathering, where you can sit around stone houses from the 18th century with lounge music in the heart of Beirut. Only a few kilometers away from Martyr’s square in downtown Beirut, The Gathering offers different types of cuisines; either for a date or with group of friends, it is always a beautiful, positive atmosphere.
During summer, I most enjoy their outdoor area around the tree; it feels like I’m sitting on my terrace at home. Once you step on it, you will forget about the rest of the world. The food is also super-tasty, especially the truffle pizza, and there is always some creativity added for each plate.
Even if you decide to sit outside, I recommend a walk around the indoor space — it’s mesmerizing. The stone color and the dim light with the wooden furniture is very beautiful.
