Located in the heart of Beirut, only a few km away from Martyr square, Villa Clara is a charming French restaurant and a boutique hotel with an Art Nouveau design style.
An old Lebanese house from the 1920s has totally been renovated by the architect Ramy Boutros hand in hand with Marie-Helene and Olivier Gougeon, the owners.
Remarkable interior, cozy, private, friendly service and great, fresh French cuisine.
Even the bread is prepared on a daily basis as part of the cuisine routine. The plates are tailor made with delicious recipes, and the menu is seasonable, as part of the chef’s main rules — FRESH & ORGANIC!
When it comes to the set up, you’ll feel the privacy of your own table; the place has limited places, with around 25 people all at once, making the experience more enjoyable.
Walk-ins are always welcomed, although it is advised to call for a reservation.
More than just a dining place, Villa Clara is an exquisite experience to live. Once I stepped in, I felt the warm atmosphere and the hospitality.
