I’m quite fond of the ‘hole in the wall’ establishments, and this bakery is just that. It does not really stand out and you’re more likely to pass it by without giving it a second look. Finding out the name of the place for this article was a bit of a challenge as well, they are not on Google maps nor do they have it written on the store. But I suggest trying it out, if it wasn’t worth it I wouldn’t be writing about it.

I tend to stick to my favorites, in Orijent, I only always order rice pudding, at ice cream shops I always get the raspberry flavor and here I always go for the pies – the cheese pie to be more precise, though you will not go wrong if you go with the potato or mushroom pies either.

This is a very straightforward transaction. I come, get my dose of the cheese pie, and I leave, usually eating my pie while walking. There is a small park nearby where you can also take a seat and eat in (relative) peace. The pies are sold by grams, so you either say you want 100-200 or more grams or one whole piece (I go for half a piece as they are quite long).

If you are craving something sweet after this, the shop on the left is Luff – an amazing gelato place, don’t miss it!
